About us
The primary object of IEC Education is to help Vietnamese young learners to learn and use English as an instrument to communicate and interact with the world, give them a chance to get a better job in the near future.
For us, helping students gain a stronger foundation in English before furthering their studies is the biggest present.
We hope to help more students to have the opportunity to learn, experience, and improve their English every day with available resources on the Internet and the companionship of teachers and staff at IEC Education.
Courses
There are several courses which are suitable for students at different levels. Students can take a level test via this Link to choose an appropriate course that matches their level. We use spaced repetition method to help students remember the main content with flashcards, sounds, and different exercises. This method has been scientifically proven to be effective for most language learners.
Beginner
In this course, students will learn about familiar topics such as the alphabet, greetings, daily activities, describe the location, and give simple directions.
There are a lot of exercises for students to improve their listening skills, speaking, reading, and writing skills. After finishing the Beginner course, students can communicate with others at the most basic level of English.
– Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type
– Can introduce yourself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where you live, things you have, and people you know
– Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to cooperate
Elementary
Students continue to learn about familiar topics such as jobs, hobbies, family, and friends…However, lesson content will be expanded to help students improve their vocabulary, sentence structure, and grammar.
There are a lot of exercises for students to improve their listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills, and writing skill. After finishing the Elementary course, students are able to communicate in everyday situations with commonly-used expressions and elementary vocabulary.
– Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to the areas of experience most immediately relevant to you (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, places of interest, employment, etc.).
– Can communicate in simple, everyday tasks requiring no more than a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
– Can describe in simple terms aspects of your past, environment, and matters related to your immediate needs.
Pre-Intermediate
This course will help students improve their vocabulary and sentence structure in expanded topics such as jobs, sports, entertainment, health, technology. Students at this level are able to talk about familiar topics, read some materials:
– Be able to understand sentences clearly about relevant topics such as jobs, learning, entertainment, etc.
– Be able to deal with most situations that arise in daily life
– Be able to write simple content related to familiar topics or hobbies
– Be able to describe or talk about personal experience, events or give simple explanations, ideas, or plans
